The principals and practices are based on the International Coach Federation Competencies. The Pastoral Institute of Columbus, GA provided the place and content for my certification. It was a tremendous experience.
This study has changed the way I approach relationships and leadership. It is only the beginning. Coaching is a process – one that will last a lifetime. I have begun coaching individuals and couples, leaders and teams, churches and professional companies.
Effective coaching requires the practice of coaching others and receiving coaching as well. I have and will continue to be engaged with an experienced coach.
There are so many benefits to the coaching process. Discovery, support, accountability, action, and calculated risk-taking are just a few.
Coaching provides an opportunity for growth and development, unlike most other adult learning experiences.
